About lakes and pools in the area of Živinice:

As a consequence of surface coal exploitation in the period between 1979-1985, several mining lakes were formed in the area of Živinice, especially in the area between Đurđevik and Višća Gornja, ie the part surrounded by the Djedin mountain range. Lake "Hadžije" which is located in Višća Gornja (Odorovići), the hamlet of Hadžije is one of the most beautiful lakes of this type. It is ideal for vacation and fishing.

The lake is not used by bathers due to possible landslides and local depressions, it is a popular cycling and hiking route that leads through the hamlet "Mahala" to several locations (Djedov kalem, Drenik, Studešnica).
Paradise Lake Bašigovci has been an important tourist destination for many visitors from Tuzla Canton and beyond for many years. It is a very pleasant place for a day off and recreation of visitors from all parts of BiH, not only in high season when temperatures are high, but throughout the year because of the beautiful landscape and scenery that is perfect for relaxing walks along the circular path around the lake.

"Paradise Lake", also called "Bashigovac Lake", was created in 1984, when the exploitation of coal ore was stopped. The lake is about 400 meters long and about 350 meters wide with a maximum depth of 40 meters in the middle. Although it is a lake formed after the cessation of ore exploitation, this lake is adapted for safe stay of bathers in the water because the bottom is filled with gravel to level the inner terrain of the lake and reduce the slope, which eliminates the possibility of landslides.

The most beautiful lake in the area of Živinice for all fishing enthusiasts is certainly the lake "Bare-Šljunkara" which is located on the left side of the road Živinice-Husino-Tuzla in Strašanj.
This lake is ideal for sport fishing, and in the organization of the Association of Citizens of UGSR "Mrena" Živinice, numerous competitions are held at this location.
In addition, UGSR "Mrena" Živinice regularly maintains and restocks the lake and takes care of the entire fish stock in the entire area of the City of Živinice.

There are many pools in the Tuzla Canton, but we can say with certainty that there is no such pool as "Toplica" which is located in the area of Lukavica Gornja-Živinica.
The uniqueness is reflected in the spring water that flows into the pool and that water has a constant temperature of 20-22 degrees.
The water is not chemically treated and is ideal for all visitors and swimmers who love a completely natural environment.

Pools "ERNA" Priluk have an exceptional approach to guests and swimmers, a lovely pool arrangement, a large number of deck chairs, benches and umbrellas and superior services. All of that makes them one of the favorite places for swimming for all visitors from Tuzla Canton and beyond.
The pools have a daily capacity for 1,500 bathers, on a water surface of 600 square meters.
They are located in Priluk (Živinice) near the Old Priluk Mosque and near the exit to Lake Modrac.

In addition to the large pool, there is a children's pool, right next to it there is a restaurant that is open all year round and whose capacity is 450 people / guests.

In the area of the narrower part of the city zone in Križaljka (Živinice) on the road Živinice-Banovići, there are also AQUA Živinice swimming pools.

Within the AQUA swimming pool complex there are various facilities, and a restaurant with various dishes, hot and cold drinks is available to visitors. During the season, numerous themed parties are held at the pools, and it is a favorite place for going out, all day and socializing during the summer season for many citizens from the Tuzla Canton.

In the area of Živinice, Tuzla and Lukavac in the period from 1960 to 1963, one of the largest artificial water reservoirs in the country was built - Lake "Modrac" with a capacity of 100 million m3 of water for industry in the region, occupying an area of 1,725 hectares, of which Živinice waste 750 hectares.
The settlements of Priluk, Šerići (Živinice) are located on the shores of Lake "Modrac".
Apart from the beautiful landscape and plant vegetation, the presence of wetland birds, of which 98 species have been identified, the Modrac reservoir is the pearl of this area.
Although not all the tourist potentials of this huge water area and rich landscape have been used, there are a large number of Birdwatching enthusiasts in the wetland area of Lake Modrac, and tourism in the form of birdwatching has been recognized and included in the Tourism Development Strategy of Živinice. at the initiative of the Association for Nature Protection and Biodiversity Via naturae - Šerići (Živinice).
Along the road Živinice-Šerići-Priluk-Poljice-Prokosovići on the right side stretches a beautiful wetland landscape, then the water landscape of Lake Modrac with many boats that many cyclists use as a favorite destination for daily training, recreational touring.
